Which oil is best suited to your needs and the needs of your car? Nowadays synthetic oil is commonly used and even required in most vehicles. It has high levels of lubrication and engine protection and even better protection against heat buildup. It delivers enhanced durability and has better cleansing properties. Using a high-quality oil can even prolong the life of your vehicle and save gas.
Conventional oil, on the other hand, is best suited for the low-mileage, late-model car that rarely gets out. Or at least when it is driven, it's a proper cruise-not driven to the max. If that's all you need then conventional oil is for you. If not, then synthetic is the best option. There is also a synthetic blend out there but is primarily for vehicles that haul heavy loads and are in the high RPMs a lot. If you're unsure, check your owner's manual.
