Picture this: you’re walking down one of the main streets in NYC’s Time Square, when you see someone pointing up. You follow the woman’s finger … up, up, up. There is a huge rock climbing wall which has been erected in the middle of the square and is the same height as a nearby billboard.
The structure, installed by Toyota, would be climbed by Christina Fate, a rally car navigator who accepted the auto manufacturer’s challenge to get to the top. The caveat? Fate was a novice climber and trained only four weeks before attempting the climb.
