Last time here on our blog, we told you all about the recent unveiling of the hot new FT-1 Concept at the Detroit Auto Show. Here at Lithia Toyota of Billings, we took that as a signal that Toyota might lay off the reveals and debuts of new models for a while but apparently we were very wrong.

We are in the height of the automotive event season, and the Chicago Auto Show will actually begin tomorrow, with one in Montreal beginning not long after that. The Chicago show has become known as the event where pickups rule and automakers focus on their truck lines.

Just last week a Toyota commercial showed up online showing two mysterious trucks rumbling down a desert road.  While most of the trucks were obscured by clouds of dust, we were still bale to make out the letters TRD stamped on the pickup's tailgate.

That is leading industry insiders to believe that Toyota will soon be revealing two new limited edition version of the Tacoma and Tundra pickups at the Chicago Auto Show. Our best guess is that aside from some fresh new body kits, these new models will be stuffed with performance parts courtesy of Toyota Racing Development.

You can guarantee that our team here at Lithia Toyota of Billings will be here to report on all the latest Toyota news as soon as it breaks. Be sure to keep an eye on our blog for more updates on these new TRD trucks. For more info on the vehicles currently in our inventory, you can simply stop by our showroom any time. We are located at 1532 Grand Ave Billings, MT.
