Ok, so we understand that every time our brand even breathes the world immediately jumps to the conclusion a Supra replacement is on the way. Truly if we had a dollar for every time a rumor buzzed regarding the iconic sports car we would be relaxing on a beach in Hawaii.
We are not in Hawaii right now, we are still right here in the Lithia Toyota of Billings showroom, and there still is no Supra successor.
We understand that the past rumors have yielded no results to date, but we promise you that today's news is far more promising.
The experts over at Autoblog had a sit down recently with a group of Toyota executives, and according to them all signs point to a Supra successor being revealed at the upcoming Detroit Auto Show.
Thatās right, the legend whose departure we have lamented over since 2002 very well could see a return to glory this coming January. Whether this vehicle will come solely from Toyota, or as a result of their recent partnership with BMW, we do not know, but all we care about is that the rumors finally come true.
So for now we must attempt to wait patiently yet again to see if the new year will bring a new Supra related model. Make sure you keep in the loop here on our blog as the Detroit show approaches, surely we will share any news containing the word Supra, as with tradition.
Hopefully a new sports car will join the likes of nameplate models like the 2014 Camry and 2014 Corolla here in our inventory of new Toyota vehicles. A Supra successor would surely heat up the cold winter days here in Billings, Montana, so cross your fingers that we see the rumors finally come to fruition.
